Sacred Patterns
Collection
In the Sacred Patterns Collection, I use a Zen-inspired method of painting rooted in intuitive, energetic brushstrokes. I use sumi, walnut, and acrylic inks to explore the organic patterns created in nature and shaped by time and the elements.
From the ripples of sand revealed under the shifting tides, to the delicate and complicated colors inside a seashell, to stones shaped by the rhythm of the waves—these works transcribe beauty encountered during walking meditations in nature and recalled in times of embodied creative expression.
